For low-flow diesel measurement, compare CE-131 at 1–10 LPM with the CE-102 digital diesel flow meter at 7–40 LPM. For higher flows and ±0.2% accuracy, compare the CE-105 variants by flow range and size.

The four CE-105 positive displacement variants have the tightest accuracy figure here: ±0.2%.
| Model or variant | Flow range | Accuracy | Readout or function |
|---|---|---|---|
| CE-131 | 1–10 LPM | ±0.5% | Backlit 3-inch LCD; preset-flow control signal |
| CE-102 | 7–40 LPM | ±0.5% | LCD; pulse output; non-resettable totalizer |
| CE-102-C | 7.6–75.7 LPM | ±1.5% | Litres, gallons, pints or quarts |
| CE-103-C, 1-inch inlet | 18.9–190 LPM | ±1.5% | Litres, gallons, pints or quarts |
| CE-103-C, 1.5-inch inlet | 38.0–380 LPM | ±1% | Litres, gallons, pints or quarts |
| CE-104 | 0–120 LPM | ±1% | Mechanical subtotal and master totalizer |
| CE-PDDFM-40 | 25–250 LPM | ±0.2% | Positive displacement; litre/gallon register |
| CE-PDDFM-50 | 38–380 LPM | ±0.2% | Positive displacement; litre/gallon register |
| CE-PDDFM-80 | 75–750 LPM | ±0.2% | Positive displacement; litre/gallon register |
| CE-PDDFM-100 | 130–1300 LPM | ±0.2% | Positive displacement; litre/gallon register |
The CE-102-C row belongs to the CE-103 product family; it is not the separate CE-102 digital meter. Two other rows share the CE-103-C label, so use inlet size and flow range to identify the required variant.

For low flow, Chintan Engineers offers CE-131 at 1–10 LPM and CE-102 at 7–40 LPM in India. Choose CE-131 if a preset quantity must trigger a valve signal. Choose CE-102 if the line needs pulse output or an 8-digit non-resettable totalizer.
From our installations, an industrial tools manufacturer needed a digital display and data output for low-flow diesel monitoring. Those two functions should be checked alongside flow range; a local display alone does not provide the CE-102 pulse output.
Say you need to measure 30 LPM. That hypothetical flow falls within both the CE-102 and CE-PDDFM-40 ranges. CE-102 has a 3/4-inch size and ±0.5% accuracy; CE-PDDFM-40 has a 40 mm size and ±0.2% accuracy.
For a mechanical readout, CE-104 has a 1-inch BSPT/NPT connection and ±1% accuracy. It is designed for non-commercial use only. Its specified liquids include diesel, kerosene and gasoline.
The CE-105 variants cover sizes from 40 mm to 100 mm. Each has 0.05% repeatability, a 10 bar maximum pressure and an 80°C maximum temperature. Match the individual variant’s flow range to the line rather than selecting by accuracy alone.
For monitoring, CE-102 provides a built-in reed-switch pulse output and a single-channel signal output. Its 5-digit LCD shows a subtotal, while its 8-digit totalizer cannot be reset. It runs on two alkaline batteries and provides a correction factor.
The CE-131 meter with LCD controller displays real-time flow on a backlit 3-inch LCD. At the preset quantity, it sends a signal to a solenoid valve; that valve is not included. Liquid-temperature display requires an extra temperature sensor.
CE-131 uses DC 24 V ±8 V / 1 A supply power. Its flow sensor works at 3–12 V. The specified normally closed valve works at DC 12 V / 0.3–0.5 A.
CE-103 offers litres, gallons, pints and quarts, with approximately 9,000 hours of battery operation. The CE-104 mechanical meter has rotating wheels, a resettable subtotal and a non-resettable master totalizer.
CE-105 has a litre/gallon register. Pulse output, air elimination, counters, a set-stop counter and a ticket printer are accessory options. Specify any required accessory for the selected CE-105 variant.
Check the line’s flow and connection first; CE-131 covers 1–10 LPM, while CE-102 covers 7–40 LPM.
For a CE-103-C enquiry, give the inlet size. Its 1-inch and 1.5-inch rows have different flow ranges and accuracy figures.
To calibrate a diesel flow meter, compare its volume reading with a measured reference volume, then use that model’s adjustment method. CE-102 provides a correction factor, while CE-104 supports calibration at the workplace. The exact adjustment steps depend on the selected meter.
On CE-103, the button named Calibrate selects the measurement unit and displays total volume. CE-105 has a calibrator adjustable to 0.2% custody accuracy. If the meter will measure a sale, check the approval and verification requirements for that installation separately.
What does the CE-105 calibrator adjust to?
The CE-105 calibrator adjusts to 0.2% custody accuracy. Its four CE-PDDFM variants specify ±0.2% accuracy.
Does the CE-102 provide a pulse output?
Yes. CE-102 has a built-in reed-switch pulse output and a single-channel signal output.
What flow range does the CE-131 cover?
CE-131 covers 1–10 LPM at ±0.5% accuracy. Its controller can signal a valve when flow reaches a preset quantity.
Can the CE-103 display different measurement units?
Yes. CE-103 offers litres, gallons, pints and quarts. Its Calibrate button selects the unit and displays total volume.
